The
Gallagher Collection Person Dataset Most face recognition databases contain images of faces
shot under lab conditions. My collection is a set of typical digital image
snapshots, captured in real life at real events of real people with real
expressions. The 931 faces with 32 identities in each of the 589 images are
labeled. The criterion for labeling a face was that the eyes must be
visible, and the face must be "mostly" frontal (i.e. both ears should be
visible, except for occlusion).

This dataset is for non-commercial reseach purposes (such as academic research)
only. The images are not allowed to be redistributed (do not pass
copies of any part of this collection to others, or post any images on the
Internet). All images are Copyright (c) 2006-2007.
