Audio-Visual Interaction
Human speech is inherently bi-modal. The acoustic speech signal and the visual parameters of lip movement carry different aspects of information of human speech. This research has found applications in the lipreading, and acoustic speech driven lip animation.
Face Tracking
To enable a computer to perceive the need of the computer user, we must first let the computer know whether the user is present in front of the computer, and where the face location is. To achieve this task, we track the human face based on color distribution models of the user face and the background, and also a deformable template.
Social Network
We use the graph theory and optimization theory to study the morphing of the structure of organizations, and propose the optimal path for this kind of structural change.
