Takayuki BABA
Biography
I am a visiting scientist in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University at Ithaca, NY. for one year starting from March 2009. I am working with Prof. Tsuhan Chen in the Advanced Multimedia Processing Lab.
Before coming to the US, I received the ME and PhD degree in information and computer sciences at Osaka University in Japan, in 1996 and 1998, respectively. In 1999, I joined FUJITSU LABORATORIES LTD. in Japan, where I am currently working on multimedia retrieval technology.
My research interests include multimedia retrieval, multimedia mining, image analysis, and computer vision.
